Yes, you can directly purchase VCV Rack Pro and premium modules on the VCV Library. These purchases will remain in your VCV account even if you do not have an active VCV+ subscription.

After subscribing to VCV+, all included modules are added to your VCV account. You can remove specific modules at the VCV+ module library. Removed modules will not be installed when clicking “Library > Update all” in VCV Rack.

If your patch includes premium modules from VCV+, other users must either be a VCV+ subscriber or own lifetime licenses of all premium modules in the patch.

We don’t offer a free trial for VCV+, but if you subscribe to VCV+ and aren’t fully satisfied, let us know within 7 days of purchase and you can return the software for a full refund. See our refund policy for full details.

If you cancel your VCV+ subscription, you’ll no longer be able to use premium modules from VCV+, but you can continue using VCV Rack Free, modules you’ve individually purchased, and free modules added to your VCV account. Your patch files will remain intact on your computer storage, although premium modules will emit silence unless your VCV+ subscription is renewed.
